Bullpadel Hack Review — The Best Mid-Range Racket?

Our honest review of the Bullpadel Hack: specs, playing feel, and who should buy it. The mid-range classic tested.

★★★★☆

Pros

  • Good balance of control and power
  • Teardrop shape with a forgiving sweetspot for its class
  • Solid build quality, durable
  • Natural step up from beginner rackets

Cons

  • Too much racket for complete beginners
  • Less forgiving than round models
  • Costs more than entry-level options

Short answer: The Bullpadel Hack is the classic “next step” racket. Once you’ve got a few months under your belt, play regularly, and want more from your racket — this is the right move. For complete beginners, it’s a touch too demanding.

Playing Feel

The Bullpadel Hack feels more serious than a beginner racket — deliberately so. The teardrop shape generates more power than round models, without shrinking the sweetspot to the aggressive degree of a diamond frame. That’s the sweet spot Bullpadel found with the Hack.

At ~365 g with a mid balance point, it sits heavier in hand than something like the Zephyr, but that translates positively on court: more stability on hard balls, better feel on the smash.

Control

Control is good — but less forgiving than the Babolat Viper or Head Zephyr. That’s not a flaw, it’s the logical consequence of the teardrop shape. Playing the Hack, you quickly know whether you hit well or not. That’s actually useful feedback for improving.

Power

This is where the Hack earns its keep. Smashes have more bite, drives carry more pressure. Stepping up from a pure control racket, you feel the difference immediately.

Who Is It For — and Who Isn’t It For?

Good fit for:

  • Players with 3–6+ months of experience
  • Anyone wanting more power without abandoning control
  • Regular players (2–3× a week) who want to improve

Not ideal for: Complete beginners — not forgiving enough. Start with a round racket first.

Where to Buy

Verdict

4/5 — One of the best mid-range rackets available. Good balance of control and power, solid build, fairly priced. If you’ve outgrown a beginner racket, this is a strong choice.
