Graz is Austria's second city — and it has padel history. Styria was home to one of the very first padel courts in the German-speaking world.
The padel scene in Graz
Graz holds a special place in padel history: the Racket Sport Center Graz (now Padelzone Graz) was one of the first clubs to introduce padel in the German-speaking world, back in 1993. That pioneering spirit is still part of the local scene today.
Today Graz has two venues: Padelzone Graz (6 courts, indoor and outdoor) on Ragnitzstraße — the historic home of padel in Styria — and Padellounge in the west of the city, a community-focused club with 3 outdoor courts ideal for training and casual play.
